This Practice establishes guidelines and recommended procedures for use by engineers analyzing and designing heat exchanger and horizontal vessel foundations and should be used where applicable unless otherwise specified. This Practice addresses isolated foundations supported directly on soil. Pile supported footings are not considered in this Practice.
